CPU proudly presents a Malicious Damage Records night, which will feature The Orb(Dj set), Transit Kings, Belka & Strelka and Dublins own Analogue Mindfield.
Take a mix of the founding members of Ambient House (Alex Paterson - The Orb, Jimmy Cauty - The KLF, Guy Pratt - Pink Floyd, Dom Beken - The Orb) whose revolutionary music changed the lives of a generation, put them together with A list musicians and programmers and throw in a pinch of comedy for good measure and what do you get? - Transit Kings.
Described by Cheshire Cat of Leftfield as a heavyweight mix of reggae, old school dub with vibrant brass driven trip skank like a mouthfull of liquorice allsorts Analogue Mindfield blend elements of Trip-Hop, Reggae, Drum and Bass and Ambient. Currently Analogue Mindfield are collaborating with Eric Rico (producer/ Jurassic 5, Pharcyde, Tupac Shakur Tribute album), Tim Bran (Subsonar, Dreadzone, Transmission), Belka & Streilka (The Orb, The Transit Kings), Dr Das (Asian Dub Foundation) for their second album to be released later this year on Malicious Damage.
